Do’s and Don’ts for E-Waste Management

Do’s:

• Check the Catalogue: Always refer to the product catalogue for information on handling end-of-life equipment.
• Use Authorized Recyclers: Ensure that only authorized recyclers repair and handle your electronic products.
• Contact Authorized Collection Centers: Always call authorized e-waste collection centers or points to dispose of products that have reached the end of their life.
• Proper Disposal: Drop off used electronic products, batteries, or accessories at the nearest authorized e-waste collection center when they are no longer functional.
• Battery and Glass Safety: Disconnect the battery from the product and protect any glass surfaces to prevent breakage.

Don’ts:

• Avoid Self-Dismantling: Do not dismantle your electronic products on your own.
• Follow Disposal Signs: Do not throw electronics in bins marked with a “Do Not Dispose” sign.
• Avoid Informal Sectors: Do not give e-waste to informal or unorganized sectors, such as local scrap dealers or rag pickers.
• No Mixing with Municipal Waste: Do not dispose of electronic products in garbage bins along with municipal waste, as this may end up in landfills.

Partnership for E-Waste Management

We have signed an agreement with M/s. GLOBAL WASTE SOLUTION, an authorized dismantler and recycler with authorization from the Haryana Pollution Control Board. They handle all Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) activities, including collection, transportation, storage, segregation, dismantling, and recycling of our e-waste. PAN India transportation is managed by their logistics partner, M/s. National Carrier.

E-waste is channeled through our recycler’s collection points. While we don’t have collection points in every state, points in neighboring states serve nearby regions. Below is the state-wise list of collection points established by GLOBAL WASTE SOLUTION.
